During the research process of the design, I found that there was one significant element that was needed in the poster. It needed to depict how a group can come together as a civilization. In order to do this, I took Africa's three main colors: yellow, green, and red. Each small dot would be a representation of an African citizen. I wanted to make the dots look as if they were all flowing in to form a united society. Therefore, I had different dots scattered out, then eventually had them come together to form a civilized Africa bold with color. having a black background worked very well to bold the color of each dot. Finding a good typeface for "SERSAS" was important. The font is very strong and structured, adding clarity and significance to the poster.
