Color Samples in the Environment

This is symbolic because each color symbolizes something. White signifies purity and innocence, Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue, the color of the Chief.

Transparent, Translucent and Opaque Hues can be found in items like coke bottles.

In matte hue there is mostly a darker, thicker color, which can sometimes be found in leather. You can also find textured colors in leather as well.

Stucture Modular

In this project we had to take recent compositions and change the structure of them. At first(on the bottom) i had a "radial burst" composition and changed it to "Diagnality" by easily rotating the lines.
For my next one, I took my asymmetrical composition and created a "Triangled" stucture. It's a bit simple but it works.
At the top is my Symmetrical design to the left. I took this one and decided to make it an "L shaped" structure. I think this worked a little more because I had more shapes to make the "L" that I needed. I choose to change my asymmetrical, symmetrical, and radial designs because they gave me a lot of shapes to work with.

Texture Modular

I was kinda disappointed with how long it took me to do this modular. It took a while to actually find the actual picture I wanted to do and the textures for it. When I finally figured out what textures I was going to use, it took some work to place them in the composition how I wanted them to be. My five objects for texture were: the golf ball, grass, the cup, dirt, and background grass. For the golf ball I used the surface of the moon. Pie crust for the dirt. Ice crystals for the grass. Concrete for the cup. Then I used carpet for the background grass. I believe my choices of texture were very creative and I am most proud of them in this project.

Space Modulars: Deep and Shallow

Once again I choose to do a car for this project because there is a lot of spacial depth to it. I chose to zoom in on a part of the car that I thought had the most shallow relationship. In order to turn the image into a deep modular, I simply zoomed out and did the whole car. I did a diagonal photo of the car because it looks elongated.

I had lots of fun with this project. It was a bit challenging though. With the still life there were so many different shades and it was hard for me to deal with them. The glass pitcher had a lot going on mainly because you could see everything inside of it. It reflected every other object that was beside it. I thought that I did a better job with the jar of peppers and the glass with the bamboo sticks inside.

I was very proud of the success I had on the car. I chose it because it had a lot of value to it with all of the light hitting it and its actual shape. What challenged me the most was the wheel and the interior of the car. I think I pulled it off excellently though. To me it kinda looks better than the actual car! I really think that this one was is one of my most successful works of art that I have ever done.
